Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurised chamber. HBOT enhances the body’s oxygen levels, promoting tissue repair, gene expression, stem cell activity, immune function, energy production, metabolism, and detoxification, while also aiding recovery and regeneration. Hyperbaric chambers are recognised for providing a wide range of health, wellness, and anti-aging benefits.
Intermittent hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been proven to slow down cellular and biological aging.
Our soft shell chamber operates at pressures of 1.3 & 1.5 ATA.
Our hard chambers operate at pressures between 1.5 - 3.0 ATA.
Traditional uses
In the European Union, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is traditionally used for several medical conditions. While regulations may vary slightly by country, the following indications are generally recognised for HBOT treatment:
Decompression Sickness
Air or Gas Embolism
Carbon Monoxide (CO) Poisoning
Chronic Non-Healing Wounds
Osteoradionecrosis & Soft Tissue Radionecrosis
Gas Gangrene (Clostridial Myonecrosis)
Necrotising Soft Tissue Infections
Severe Anaemia (When Blood Transfusion is Not an Option)
Compromised Skin Grafts & Flaps
Crush Injuries & Compartment Syndrome
Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is rapidly gaining attention for its wellness treatment benefits, offering benefits that support the body’s natural healing processes. By delivering pure oxygen in a pressurised environment, HBOT enhances oxygen absorption in the bloodstream, which aids in tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and promotes overall recovery. Many people explore HBOT as part of their wellness routine, seeking its potential to optimise cellular function, boost circulation, and support the body’s ability to heal and regenerate.
